What can I do about neighbors dog barking?

My neighbors dog barks a lot and it is often times when no one (save the dog) is home.
This is really getting on our nerves considering we have very small free time to relax and when we are trying to relax (or even sleep!) this dang dog just keeps barking!
Any type of ways to deal with this?
